Past Image Photography

Most of the photographs on this website have been taken with modern cameras (film and digital). Such cameras are increasingly easy to use but we wanted to explore how the period photographers worked.

This is a series of pages briefly exploring the development of war photography from World War One, through the Spanish Civil War to World War Two.
 
There is also a series of photographs of modern re-enactment taken with period cameras.
